3 Day Delight Short Tour
A Typical day
Here's a flavour of a 'typical' day with Cycle Turismo. Of course, every day is different and will bring something new.
| 8am | Gourmet breakfast, continental or cooked. We’ve instructed the chefs to prepare delicious energy booster breakfasts to fuel you through the day |
| 9:30am -10:00am | (If required) Quick drive to start of the ride |
| 10:00am – 12:00 noon | Daily ride of between 40 and 60 km’s (1 ½ to 2 ½ hour ride) on flat to hilly terrain |
| 12:00noon -1:30pm | Group lunch at award-winning restaurant or winery |
| 1:30pm – 2:00 pm | Drive/ride back to accommodation |
| 2:00pm | Return to accommodation for afternoon activities. Activities may include sight-seeing, spa/massage treatments, other sporting activities (golf, water sports, etc), wine tasting, or simply lounging by the pool. The afternoon is your free time.* |
| 3:00pm | Optional: The Cycle Turismo team will go for a 2 hour ride. Feel free to join us if you haven’t had enough riding already today |
| 7:00pm | Evening meal** |
Notes:
* Day 1 will include a ferry crossing from Wellington to the beautiful Marlborough Sounds. We will have snack lunch before beginning our ride for the day.
** Either the Cycle Turismo team or the accommodation provider can recommend activities and sight seeing options. Contact us for ideas and transportation options.
*** One evening dinner is included in the 3 Day Delight Tour package. Pre dinner drink and limited wine is supplied.
